BMW 330e service
A plug-in hybrid has two power sources: a petrol engine and electricity. On top of the normal service, the 330e needs an eye on the hybrid system and the brakes.
In short
BemuFIX services BMW 330e plug-in hybrids, both the F30 generation (about 2016–2019) and the G20 generation (from 2019). The scheduled service follows BMW's schedule and is recorded in the digital service book. If the car won't charge or its electric range has dropped, we start with diagnostics (from €49).
What does a 330e service include?
The petrol engine is serviced like on any other 3 Series: oils, filters, fluids and the CBS reset. We also read the hybrid system's fault memory.
A plug-in hybrid uses its brakes less, because the car does a lot of its braking with the electric motor. That's why the brake discs can rust. We check them at every service.
When charging doesn't work
We start with diagnostics, then tell you what the repair takes and what it costs.
- The car won't start charging even though the cable is plugged in
- The electric range has clearly dropped
- There's a hybrid system warning in the instrument cluster
Your warranty stays valid
You can have even a newer 330e serviced at BemuFIX. The warranty stays valid when the service follows the manufacturer's schedule, and we record it in the digital service book.
Frequently asked
Do you service the BMW 330e?
Yes. We service both F30 and G20 generation 330e plug-in hybrids and update the digital service book.
My 330e won't charge. What should I do?
Book diagnostics (from €49). We read the hybrid system's fault memory and tell you what the repair takes and what it costs.
Why do the 330e's brake discs rust?
A plug-in hybrid does a lot of its braking with the electric motor, so the mechanical brakes are used less and the discs have time to rust. We check them at the service.
How much does a 330e service cost?
Scheduled service from €250 and major service from €450. Diagnostics from €49. Repairs €89/h.
